Sunday night’s game proved to be a fight to the end between WFTDA apprentice league Soul City Sirens and the CQS Miss B-havers. Augusta favored a win, but the Miss B-havers brought it home. For CQS’s Miss B-havers, this game proved to be a challenge both on the track and in the penalty box. Soul City’s Pink Sox gave CQS blockers a hard fight often taking the inside line and earning lead jammer. [Read More]

Fresh off a win against WFTDA Dominion, the CQS Allstars traveled to Raleigh, NC for the battle of the Carolinas. The Carolina Rollergirls are ranked 21st in the nation and proved to be a perfect matchup for the CQS Allstars.

On October 16, 2011, the Blue Ridge Rollergirls traveled to Columbia, SC to take on the Columbia QuadSquad. With bras decorated by the team at the front door, people in costume in the crowd and an epic swordfight at halftime, one of the best bouts of the season was the icing on the cake.

With a birthday to celebrate and a roster full of hard hitters, the CQS Allstars were definitely up for a derby roadtrip to Alabama to take on the Dixie Derby Girls. With a blow away victory, the CQS Allstars added one more hash mark to their continuing undefeated winning streak.

With a few of the usual jammers missing from the roster, CQS sent the Miss B-havers to Tennessee to take on the Chattanooga Rollergirls. With Chattanooga dealing out the heavy blows, they managed to pull an early lead and ending the game victorious 157-68.

With hurricane Irene making it’s way up the East coast and a small earthquake shaking things up in Virginia, the River City Rollergirls sadly had to cancel their travel plans. With only a day to scramble together a formidable appointment, CQS’s famous announcer Lou Botomy put together a whirlwind team of his own from the south. On Saturday, August 27th the Carolina Hurticanes brought a storm of their own to Columbia.
